Cookie policy
This document explains how Bovandis uses cookies and similar technologies on bovandis.com, and how we implement Google Consent Mode v2 to respect your decision before activating any measurement or advertising tool.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a site stores in your browser to remember preferences, keep your session active, measure audience or show relevant ads. We also use equivalent technologies such as localStorage to persist your consent decision.
2. Default consent is denied
When you first arrive at bovandis.com, every non-essential category is denied by default under Google Consent Mode v2 (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage, personalization_storage). Categories only activate when you explicitly click Accept all or Save preferences with the categories enabled.
3. Categories we use
Strictly necessary: preserve language preference, session and security. Analytics: help us understand navigation flows and detect friction points. Marketing: activated when we run Google Ads or partner campaigns. Personalisation: remember favourite projects and selected currency.
4. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2 with denied flags by default and dynamic update as soon as your choice is registered. We also enable ads_data_redaction and url_passthrough to minimise the transfer of personal identifiers before consent. The cookie_consent_update event is pushed to the dataLayer to sync with GA4 and Google Ads.
5. How to revoke or change your decision
You can change your choice anytime by removing the bovandis_cookie_consent key from your browser's local storage. The banner will re-appear on your next visit so that you can adjust your preferences.
6. Third-party cookies we use
Google (Ads and GA4) for measurement and remarketing, Google Maps for the embedded map in section 8 of this policy, and occasionally YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode for institutional videos. We do not integrate third-party social networks that track your activity outside this site.
7. Retention of technical data
Analytics data is retained for fourteen months. Advertising identifiers are kept while the campaign runs plus an additional twelve months, unless you withdraw consent earlier.
